Usage & Applications

How to Use
For mastitis, the recommended dosage is 2 mg/kg body weight daily for 3 to 5 days. For respiratory disease, a single dose of 8 mg/kg body weight is advised. MARBOMET should be administered by Intramuscular, Intravenous, or Subcutaneous route​​.

Mechanism of Action
Marbofloxacin works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for bacterial DNA replication, leading to bacterial cell death​​​​.

Safety Advice
